Melissa Chernesky joined the Brian Perry Team at Gibson Sotheby’s in 2015 with over 20 years of customer service experience. A licensed agent, who is an instrumental part of the project management and development from the first meeting until the last sale. With her strong interpersonal and organizational skills, she is an invaluable asset to the team. Day-to-day tasks range from, but not limited to client communications, all aspects of marketing from inception to final product, tracking reports, acting as the buyer and seller liaison between mortgage brokers, attorneys and developers, assisting in final walk-throughs, showings, construction punch lists, closing packets, etc. She has been integral in the success of 2451 Washington St Condominiums, 90 Antwerp, The Whitwell, 1022 Hancock St and The Church on W. Concord St, as well as assisted in the marketing & sales of over 300 individual homes. Melissa was born in Boston but moved to Maine where she lived for most of her childhood. She attended St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont. For the past 23 years she has lived in Boston, where she is involved in the South End Baseball Organization.

Joseph Smith is celebrating his 31th anniversary as a mortgage originator serving the greater Boston area. He has consistently been a top originator in the country. Real estate professionals throughout the Boston area know and rely on Joe to assist in getting deals accepted and getting to the closing table. His pre-approvals are invariably looked upon as being as good as a cash deal.
Joe has put together an amazing team of mortgage professionals who have collectively been with him over 50 years and support him and his clients.
Joe graduated from USC with a BS and MS in Engineering and graduated from Bentley University with an MBA in finance. Easy deals are great, but it is the hard deals that allow him to use his educational problem-solving skills coupled with his 31 years of mortgage experience to come up with mortgage solutions that others didn’t think possible.
Giving back to the community is important for Joe. He and his family live in Brookline and are involved in many organizations including Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Victory Programs, GLAD and The Trevor Project.
